Who we are?

Cmoore.cz s.r.o. has its origins as a student project, which saw the light of day in August 2020. The issue of augmented reality intrigued the students of ŠAVŠ so much that they decided to build a project team and go more in depth as well as develop the idea in breadth. It is quite clear that augmented reality will soon dominate almost all areas of human activities. That is why the cmoore project has been transformed into a business company cmoore.cz s.r.o. and wants to promote the potential of augmented reality especially in the field of industrial deployment.

  • Why should we consider AR/MR?

    Industrial Augmented Reality can significantly help in a company's manufacturing and non-manufacturing processes. By applying it, you will save especially on labor costs, but also in non-quality or material costs. You will increase production efficiency, reduce rework and improve quality indicators. You will fundamentally support the availability of knowledge and information to your employees.

  • Who is the technology suitable for?

    As the near future will show, technology really is suitable for everyone, both privately and at work. Especially in industries where large batches are produced, where standardisation and compliance with quality criteria are important, and where there is a risk of employee turnover. The area of use in administrative processes is also developing.

  • What processes can be improved with AR/MRI?

    It doesn't matter. But more effective is improvement anywhere:

    • performance depends on the human factor
    • the process is complex
    • the process can be done in several different ways
    • the process is prone to human error
    • there is higher turnover and less operator experience
    • visualisation and clear instructions are useful

  • What are the risks or limitations?

    Like any electronic device, augmented reality devices can have adverse effects on the human body. Whether glasses, mobile phones or tablets, all devices must be used in accordance with the instructions for use and must be stopped immediately if any adverse effects occur.

    Care must also be taken to ensure safe working and moving around. When implementing the technology, care shall be taken to ensure that holograms do not overlap or directly warn of dangerous areas.

  • How much will it cost us to implement AR/MR?

    As with any digitalisation technology, an initial analysis of the situation to which the augmented reality technology will be applied is required. The right hardware is chosen and then the right software. In the case of cmoore.cz, the software is always tailored to the situation. The final price will only be determined by a specific analysis. However, an integral part of the analysis is the calculation of the return on investment. The question is therefore also: "How long will it take to recover the investment?"

  • What are the financing options?

    The question of funding is again dependent on several factors. The preferred way for cmoore.cz is to supply hardware from the manufacturer (for example Microsoft) and separately software prepared by cmoore.cz. The customer is then the owner of both parts and uses them at no additional cost to cmoore.cz. The customer and cmoore.cz agree on any modifications and extensions separately.

    Modern models such as microtransactions, SaaS (software-as-a-service) or regular license/service fees are not preferred by cmoore.cz. However, it depends on the customer's preference and the resulting agreement.

    Subsidies play an important role in financing. There are currently several titles open for which you can apply and save considerable upfront costs. And thus significantly shorten the return on investment.
